What do I do when Firefox tells me to update plugins for security reasons, but my Mac is older and not intel-based so I shouldn't download the newer updates?
Firefox says to check 3rd party plug-ins for updates. It says my security may be vulnerable because some plug-ins don't have the latest versions installed. When I go to install the latest versions, I can't because my Mac runs Tiger(10.4.11) on a power pc, not an intel-based Mac. None of the plug-in websites tell me what to do. Unless I win a lottery I haven't bought a ticket for, I'm not going to be buying a new computer in the near future, so what can I do?

- Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac.
- Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

For an unofficial Firefox 4 compatible version (TenFourFox) that runs on PowerPC Macs with OS X 10.4.11 or OS X 10.5.8 you can look at:
Firefox 3.6.x (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:
