After upgrading to FF5 my embedded quicktime movies (embed tag) are no longer diplaying at all, through websites or file location.
I have multiple embedded quicktime movies on my website (with the embed tag). I have been update & rewriting my site over the last 2 weeks... after updating to FireFox 5 none of the movies display any longer, either live on the web, or opened from my files... they were displaying just fine until the update.

Does QuickTime work on other sites (e.g., Apple.com)?
