where is the favourites button
I havejust downloaded Firefox for the first time, I've been using IE for many many years, so it's a complete change for me.
Where on earth is the favourites button? All I can see at the top is: File Edit View history Bookmarks Tools and Help there isn't a favourites button?

In Firefox favourites are called bookmarks. For details about how to use them see the bookmarks article.
My concerns are that my entire favorites list appears to have been completely lost without any chance of recovery. I do not want telling that the same process has a different name in this browser, I wish to recover all my information. I am instantly gutted that I selected this change of browser. There were many important links, saved whilst dealing with the loss of various family members. This only exasperates matters.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
