Round and round and round we go . . . When I try to follow the instructions to enable this feature, all I get is a full page message that says "To save and autofill logins and passwords, enable Face ID, Touch ID or a device passcode." With a link to "Learn More" If I click that link, it simply returns me to the same "Manage saved passwords..." page I was using already. Without explaining what's going on!

That is exactly the article I refer to in my complaint. If I follow those directions, I just end up in the exact merry-go-round I described. What am I actually supposed to DO when the page says "To save and autofill logins and passwords, enable Face ID, Touch ID or a device passcode." Does this mean that because I cannot use a Face ID or Touch ID, and I do not need a passcode that then FIrefox refuses to save my logins for me? There's no workaround?

Hi

Yes, you will need to enable one of those security measures - it is good practice to do this anyway to secure your device and protect your privacy.

Paul, I too have this problem. There is no way to enable these security measures. When one follows the advice in the article, ie, click settings/privacy/passwords, a blank screen pops up prompting one to enable Face ID or Touch ID etc. and provides a link for more information, which tells you to click settings/privacy/passwords which leads right back to the same blank screen with the link to the same dead end instruction. Please instruct us as to how specifically one may enable Touch ID or Face ID when there is clearly no option to do so under settings/privacy/passwords.
