Hi All,

I am having issues with power bi visuals displaying properly in Firefox. It is working perfectly in Microsoft Edge. Some visuals are misaligned and portion of the background turns grey. I have attached screenshots for reference. I have hide the data with red boxes.

You may have accidentally zoomed webpage(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

  • View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))

You can try these steps in case of issues with webpages:

You can reload webpage(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies for websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Settings).

"Remove the Cookies" for websites that cause problems:

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data: "Manage Data"

"Clear the Cache":

  • Settings -> Privacy & Security
    Cookies and Site Data -> Clear Data -> Cached Web Content: Clear

Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window

Hi,

Thank you for the response. No its not zoomed in and Ad-Block is disabled for power bi service page. Additionally, why does half of the background, greys out? That shouldn't be a zoom issue. Can you please see the screenshot.

Additionally I have already tried clearing the cache. Thank you.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?

Hi,

Sorry it is not possible to share this publicly, as this is confidential document. Even If I could give you access, you would have seen the same thing, that I am showing in my screenshot. Thanks

If you are familiar with developer tools then you can check out the problematic parts.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.

Thank you @cor-el

No I don't have experience with developer tools but was able to take a screenshot. Please let me know if that helps. Thank you
