When a message is sent it should automatically be saved in the sent folder, . However the message is sent and is then won,t saves to the sent folder but just keeps trying and never succeeds. No error message is received .

Many thanks for the replies. I have however solved the problem by changing from 1st option, place on sent folder, to other folder and inserted sent - now works perfectly.

thanks your solution works, after many hours of struggling. I would never have thought such a change would have made any difference.

Do Tbird support know this problem, I wonder?
