Is there a way that I can open webpage from window10 search box itself, command could be like Firefox:www.google.com?

Like , everytime I open my regular web pages .. I need to 1st open firefox and then type web page address... Some time webpage names I show but those didnt shows up in top sites section or I didnt have webpage saved as favorite. other way I am looking at that if there is way that when I know web page address and if I can open it directly under search button with some command right .. example : firefox:www.google.com.

Do let me know if there is a way.

hi Tejinder, unfortunately microsoft has taken the unfriendly step to hard code any searches in the windows 10 search bar to be performed with edge - https://www.ghacks.net/2016/04/29/microsoft-blocks-search-engines-windows-10/

you should be able to get a particular site loaded in firefox with this command though:

firefox.exe www.google.com

Command line helps to resolve what I was looking at. And I know MS restriction on command line search which works with edge only, thats why I lead to this question ...
