In old Firefox, the Adobe Reader plugin had an email button that my users used all day long to email documents out of our imaging system. Now that we are being moved to Firefox Quantum, the Adobe plugin isnt available anymore and the Preview in Firefox doesn't have an email button.

Anyone know of an Extension, Add-on, or Plug-in, that works with Quantum, that will give us back this functionality?

I have been reading about Waterfox as a possible fix since it will give us back our plugins (Adobe Reader and Alternatiff) but am not sure of how secure it is or the updating cycle. Anyone have any experience with it?

Hi, you can go to Options --> Applications and set Adobe to open documents and Adobe it self has a email link in there page which you would have to configure. The view in Firefox does not.

I would think that Alternatiff does not meet the requirements to be used with Firefox since it has not been updated since 2015-05-22

Waterfox is based on Open Source Code of Firefox. Mozilla has nothing to do with Waterfox, their support is on Reddit.
