What version off FF did you have and what version is it now?

I have FF Quantum (64bit) 58.0.2.Windows 10 is version 1709. I have been using pocket for weeks and it was ok when I switched off last night (Friday 2/3).

Hi, hold down the Shift (Option on Mac) key when you start Firefox to start in Safe Mode. More - Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

If Pocket works in Safe Mode, disable any theme or add-ons you have - 3-bar menu > Add-ons > Themes/Extensions and restart Firefox; then if it's OK, re-enable them one by one until you find the culprit. You may need to restart Firefox after enabling some add-ons.

Look in the Customize palette - if it's there, you can drag it to the toolbar. If you don't see it, click on Restore Defaults - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down the alphabetical list to extensions.pocket.enabled and if it isn't set to True, double click on it to change it.

You can find some items like the bookmarks star and pocket in the "Page actions" drop-down list (3-dot icon at the right end of the location/address bar). You can right-click an item in the "Page actions" drop-down list to add its button to the location/address bar for easy access.

Thank you for all replies,booted up again today (Sunday) and pocket is back again.
