Had to reinstall firefox but now can't retrievebookmarks
Tried opening firefox got message: couldn't load XPcom so reinstalled firefox but all my bookmarks are missing; they are still on the compter in a file named Favourites*. How do I get them back onto the Firefox Start Page?

Firefox does not use a folder called Favorites. History and Bookmarks are stored in the places.sqlite file.
Your Firefox may have been reset. Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox?
