What happens when you try to attach a PDF? Can you attach other kinds of files, such as a .jpg or .docx file?

As said earlier I had to remove Firefox 7 times because an add on that I uploaded from Firefox was blocking the browser and the computer. As you so kindly helped me I finally got Firefox back without the script. Now when I write emails from my yahoo mail and wish to attach files I click the option that yahoo mail gives me which is attach files from computer mainly data files and not too heavy , nothing happens and I am forced to open the docs of my computer search for the file I wish to attach and drag it and drop it into the available box yahoo mail gives me and only this way it works. I truly do not wish to use this system, because in true honesty for me is very risky to enter my files online specially with all the hacking in Yahoo. Is there another way to make the attach files in yahoo mail to work. I did not try to attach pictures yet , because the procedure would be the same, entering my picture files drag and drop Any suggestions ??? And again many thanks for your devoted help INDistress

What happens if you try to upload a file? Do you get a specific error message or does simply nothing happen?

Did you try Firefox Safe Mode?

It is also possible that your security software is blocking this upload for some reason.

What security software do you have?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key) to see if that has effect.
