How to remove or block links to unwanted videos
My grandson apparently downloaded a game that came with links to ads and videos. I've managed to remove the source for the ads, but have been unable to block or remove the source for videos. Videos are sponsored by Fanbread, and have headings such as Daily Toast, CBS, and various kids videos.
Thanks in advance, BAB

Well, I didn't want to deal with Adblock Ultimate, and the Pop-up Blocker didn't work, so I tried Flashblock. It does work but I could never get it to unwork, so I deleted it. It kept working even after restarting Firefox, so I restarted the computer. It blocked my Datacolor Spyder monitor calibration that I need to process photos in Photoshop. So went to Datacolor and it wouldn't work either. Updated the graphics driver, now Datacolor will redo a monitor calibration for me.
I understand computers are immensely complicated, but there are times I wished I had stayed with a word processor :).
Everything's working again, I hope (I haven't restarted the computer yet again.) The videos seem to appear when I use a photo forum (Fuji X Forum) so it may not have been my grandson afterall. I wrote the forum a message. Hopefully that will clear up the problem. I've bookmarked this page for future reference if needed.
Thanks for the input from all, BAB

Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Adblock Plus {web link} Blocks annoying video ads on YouTube, Facebook ads, banners and much more. Adblock Plus blocks all annoying ads, and supports websites by not blocking unobtrusive ads by default (configurable).
Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon {web link} Adblock Plus Pop-up Addon extends the blocking functionality of Adblock Plus to those annoying pop-up windows that open on mouse clicks and other user actions.

I have Adblock Plus but will add the pop-up add-on. Thought I remember doing so long ago. Flash block should also help.
Does my aging mind fail me, or is there a way to block specific urls on Mozilla. I think Adblock only allows the opposite....allowing those ads one wants or removing AdBlock from websites that won't work without it disabled.
Thanks for the input, BAB
There is no Adblock Popup option. Can I assume Adblock Ultimate is the right tool?
Thanks, BAB
Hi !
Could one of these be what you are looking for ?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/silentblock/?src=search
And:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/blocksite/
Thank you, I'll keep these in mind. Both seem to have problems I don't wish to deal with right now, but the first could be useful in the future.
....... and maybe for more future reference :
