icons on tool (mail,quickfilter etc) bar are not in color

In Mozilla Thunderbird the toolbar icons are just not in colour.

Delete is not red...they are all just black...stark.

Colour helps one to recognise the function implied by the icon more easily I believe. But belief is not the same as knowledge and I am not a colour fundamentalist.

I guess the black and white color of the toolbar icons is intentionally in the current default theme. You may look for an alternative theme. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/complete-themes/
