I keep getting this message in Firefox: When it appears I cannot close it or go back to any other page or even close the browser. I have to reboot in order to get rid of it.

Message A username and password are being requested by http://firefox.system-detected-virus.org. The site says: "0x80070424 Warning: Internet Security Damaged !!! Call Help Desk:+1-855-584-1733 (TOLL-FREE)"

Hi, this sounds like malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus built-in already.
