my history changed overnight with all tumblr items gone
I wander thru a number of tumblr blogs on a daily basis. And today I found all tumblr items gone from my history. Also, no completion in the URL bar for the tumblr sites that are gone from the history.

you can search for any existing urls from tumbler here, however if the history is no longer there, they might not exist in the places.sqlite file anymore where they are stored. (IF you have a back up you can restore them)

History and cookies can be removed or not recorded several ways;
- 1) Running Firefox in Private Mode (nothing is recorded)
- 2) Privacy settings
(Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar.) - 3) Many disk cleaners and anti-virus type programs can remove data from browsers. Open their settings and have them leave the browsers alone.
- 4) Mal-ware.
