My TB version: 31.1.2 on Win7

The Add-ons Manager has a section titled "Featured Add-ons". I think, hey these must be cool if they are featured! I try "Contacts Sidebar" only to discover it was last updated in 2007 and doesn't support recent versions. How do I filter the add-ons to only display those compatible with my version of TB?

All the people still using older apple computers. That is the last version that will run on them.

There is already a contact sidebar in the current versions of Thunderbird. Why try and use an add on? Open a Write window and press F9 to turn it on.

Thanks for responding, but my question was really "Why am I seeing add-ons I cannot use?" The mentioned add-on was simply one example that I am interested in because it offers vCard functionality missing from the standard sidebar.

Not everyone uses the same version the you are. That is why there are release and compatibility notes on all software.

It's a bit weird featuring an add-on that has not seen any updates in 7 years, but perhaps there are still people using TB 3.0.
