I opened a site to apply for a job and a message said something about allowing pop ups, so I allowed it so I could finish what I was doing, now every time I go to "Julie's Freebee's" and click on the link I receive the message, "error establishing a database connection appears.

From when you are getting this message ? Probably just a temporary problem with the site.
