Since I updated to newest Firefox, some common webpages laod but the pictures or photos in the page that are links don't show. Example: foxnews, espn
Details are in the question. When I load some webpages (for example: foxnews.com or espn.com) the photos that are links to articles do not load anymore (ever since the latest version was installed on my Macbook last week). I have cleared the cache and deleted all history and cookies etc. Super annoying, all the pages work properly on Safari and Chrome.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.
Clear the Cache
Firefox Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
and
Remove Cookies
Firefox Tools > Options > Privacy.
Under History, select Firefox will Use Custom Settings.
There is a button on the right side called Show Cookies.
If there is still a problem,
Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode; Firefox Options > Advanced > General.
Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Poke around safe web sites and see if there is still a problem. Then restart.
If you read my question and details I note that I already have tried deleting Cache and Cookies.
Tried everything above, didn't fix at all. What next? Thanks.
If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
- Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu bar.
Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
- Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
- If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
- Firefox > Preferences > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

Thanks for the reply. I checked all these settings and they are correct. I don't have ad blocking add ons or security software. Is there a way to send you screen shots - I think it would easiest for you to see what I'm talking about.
please see this

Thank you!
Here are screen shots comparing Firefox and Safari. the problem with Firefox started upon installing newest version (I have also reinstalled Adobe Flash and updated everything and problem still the same) 1) Foxnews.com: note top right in Firefox, the interactive stocks are not listed in the stocks window on Firefox 2) Foxnews.com lower on page: note the pictures (as links for stories) do not show or populate in Firefox 3) Espn.com: note that when I vote in poll, in the past on Firefox, the window then populates the poll results. It no longer does this (where in the past it did - see Safari photo)
- Its only letting me add one image to the reply. I will reply multiple times with the other images one at a time as result

Your clips did not get thru.
I went to those web pages, and they loaded without problem, but they did take a bit of time because of the amount of data.
Take a Screen shot; Save the picture(s) to your desktop. Now look at the Reply box below. Do you see the button under it that says Browse? Click it and then select the screen shot(s) from the desktop. Wait until each snap is done loading before going on. When everything is done, press Post Reply.
