motors.shop.ebay.com bookmarks do not work
My Bookmarks that begin with http://motors.shop.ebay take me instead to www.ebay.com/sch/Cars-Trucks-
When entered in Internet Explorer they work fine.

eBay may also serve a different page to IE - yes, I think this is the answer

Did you check the properties (location field) of those bookmarks?
If a bookmark isn't working then create a new bookmark and delete the not working present bookmark.
Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
Thanks for the response. Checked the Properties first. Can not create a new bookmark as entering http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Cars-Trucks- takes me to http://www.ebay.com/sch/6000/i.html?_nkw=Cars+Trucks&_dcat=6001&_momoc=1&_rdc=1 The same entry in Internet Explorer 7 takes me to http://www.ebay.com/motors The format in Firefox eBay is completely different than in Internet Explorer. When I click on the bookmark the address box 'star' is not gold to indicate that the page is bookmarked. Only happens in eBay.
I see the same, so it appears that this "Cars-Trucks" page no longer exists and that eBay redirects you to a search page.
You could start with the main page (http://motors.shop.ebay.com -> http://www.ebay.com/motors) and continue from there.
Thanks again for the response. Yes, I can do that but its a totally different format and I would have to create all new eBay bookmarks. Guess I did not pose this question very well. What I probably should have posted is why does Firefox take me to a different page than it used to ? Internet Explorer still takes me to the same page. This only started recently (sorry I do not know exactly when) and do not understand what caused this to happen.
IE may load this page from the cache (try Shift + F5 in IE to bypass the cache).
