You probably will have to wait until Firefox 15 has been released officially.
Norton doesn't seem to support Firefox beta releases, so if you want to use the Norton toolbar in Firefox then you will have to install the current release (14.0.1).
I upgraded Firefox last night when prompted. Now Firefox and Norton wont work. I've been on to tech support Norton, no luck connecting to their remote help. I've checked via IE that I have latest version of Norton 360, yet I still cannot run it to run Liveupdate which might fix my problem, and I still cant use Firefox! Is there any solution out there?
thanks for the link but it's not helping. I spent 2 hours last night and 5 hours today on the Norton chat support line. Scenario was:
Wait in queue for chat support for 20 mins. Connect to an adviser. Tried to connect with me remotely. Didn't work. Linked to a new norton download which took 15 mins. Reboot. Navigate back to chat support...... wait in queue for 20 mins
ad infinitum, problem still not solved.
and so on. Hours of explaining the same problem, with different people giving me the same tasks to do. Then having to restart my pc and get back to them in the queue. Will ditch Norton and Firefox, shame though, I liked Firefox.
Basically, I give up. Norton and Firefox don't work together.
updated to ff16 today. also ran norton live update. miracle! toolbar is up and tunning!
Here are the images for my Norton and Firefox 15 issue....
Please assist!
As I stated, I have the latest Norton from Comcast and I checked and I had to update my computer as well. However, after my computer updated, Norton has still disappeared from Firefox 15, when I have had it for 3 days.
The 2013.2.3.1 is for Firefox 18.0 support. http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-18-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/886714
Norton no longer supports the old (and insecure) Firefox 15.0 and older versions. http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Attention-Firefox-3-through-15-users/td-p/706331
