Since I updated from firefox 13 to 14 in my android mobile Samsung Galaxy S II, I cant find ANYTHING that even looks like a back buttom. If I hit the cell phone back buttom, it escapes from firefox to the "desktop" screen.

It is supposed to work with the device back button. (It does on my little HTC running Android 2.3.4.) What version of Android are you running on your Galaxy S II?

android 2.3.7. Cyanogenmod 7.

The back button will have that behavior if you opened the link from an external location (Gmail, Facebook, or similar app). When navigating within the browser the back button should behave as expected.

That's right. If I open a link from another location, and then keep navigating, the back buttom simply don't work. It's surely a bug.

Back button still malfunctions (i.e., kicks you out of Firefox rather than back to the Firefox homepage) even if Firefox is booted directly. I just installed Firefox 14.0.1 on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet SCH-I800, firmware version 2.3.5. (Otherwise it looks and feels great.)

Thanks, JS

The bug doesn't exist in Cyanogenmod 9. I upgraded it and it works as it should be.
