I have tried installing the firefox for android SEVERAL times, but i just cant download it. It seems that the item is no longer in the market. Manual search also does not return any results.

What device? If you have the ability to enable installing from 'unknown sources' you should be able to install directly from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/releases/4.0b5/android-r7/multi/fennec-4.0b5-multi.eabi-arm.apk
