How to block some website from opening?
I need help to block some unwanted website from opening in a new tab or new background window, but i cant find ant=ywhere in the firefox preferences to input those website address. Also if there is some way to block unwanted ad or hidden website link from opening when I click on a button or play a video button (or anywhere on the page or input fields) from opening that hidden link (be it in the same page or new tab) its really annoying that the backgound or tabs are loading some ads or other unwanted stuff and slow down my main content.
Is there any way to get rid of this problem? I hope there is a solution to share and clear or simple steps to do it...Thanks alots!

If I understand it correctly, you're talking about unwanted popup windows? There's a good add-on for that: Poper Blocker https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/poper-blocker-pop-up-blocker/?src=hp-dl-upandcoming . It blocks all popups. Hope this helps.

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Thanks Basicman, it seem that this pop up blocker is corrupted... I have used the pop up blocker in FF itself but not working at all. but I was thinking since I have those address where those common site keep opening up then where can I add this site into the block outwebsite list so it wont be able to load? Is there a function in FF for us to add those site we wish to block?
Thanks!
