To change the username for this site : You can change the display name yourself - the username can be changed by an Administrator. Click on your display name at the top of this page (between 'Contributor Tools' and 'Inbox'). Then click on 'Edit Profile' and change your display name to whatever you want. Click 'Update' at the bottom.

For a Sync account - your email address is your username and can't be changed.

Are you sure that it's not just your display name you want to change  ? (the name that is shown here on the support forum)
