As I was moving an email into a folder, all of a sudden the spinning wheel at the top left tab labled "Inbox" will not stop. I can't download any email and when I send an email I get the error message: "encountered a problem while trying to save the message to the sent folder". Remedies I have tried: 1) I have double checked all of my mail account info and it is correct. 2) I have opened my email in a web client and have found that it is working; both send and receive. 3) I have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird. 4) I have disabled my antivirus software and relaunched Thunderbird.

I can't figure this out; the spinning circle indicator just spins endlessly with no error messages.

Thanks for any help!

The spinning wheel by itself is not a problem. The question is, can you do everything you need in Thunderbird? If a folder is a problem, then right+click on it, pick properties and then repair.

Does that help?
