This is for an iPad - and I will physically block the iPad buttons with a secure plexi frame.

Also, I already have the solution to lockout all applications on the iPad except the one I want - FireFox.

Thank you Matt_G for the info. Apparently I did not know what an iPad was - I thought it was a "computer lite." Now I see, it's only an "app holder."

I found my answer. There are apparently several apps that can do what I want. Here's one: http://www.interactivespaces.net/projects/project.php?projectId=56 although I haven't settled on a choice yet. I read one (not sure if it's the one I linked) where I can specify a URL, or a whole domain, etc, and it will allow people to surf only those sites. So apparently what I'm seeking can be done. Gotta also buy an expensive iPad enclosure to secure the unit from theft, and cover the Home button.

Hi ToddWebb,

Not sure if you are aware of this, but there is not true version of Firefox for IOS. There is a very cool and amazing app called Firefox Home though. For more information, you should take a look at the What is Firefox Home for iOS (iPhone and iPad)? article. However, I do not think that it will do what you are suggesting.

Hopefully this helps!

Hmm. Received an email reply from Vivek.Wilfred but it doesn't appear here on the site. But I see Vivek.Wilfred thanked someone... for... something? Do I take that to mean your reply wasn't valid somehow? Thank you for any clarification.

Sorry for the confusion. We both replied at the same time (there's no locking) and to avoid further confusion, I modified my original reply. I think you may have received the previous reply via the forum notification system.
