Missing Folders
Hi, All my folders are missing - 30+ in my left side panel. I switched my main email account to a different ISP. Came back into TB and all my folders are missing. I readded my new ISP same domain email account and moved it to top and default, etc. No folders? Tried Safe mode, subscribing, etc. I believe they are all imap settings - mostly gmail type accounts. Everything is displaying on left side, just can't get folders to re-appear. All the email accounts are there. If I open an email account and select important within that email itself, the emails are displayed as if I were in the folder. Sooo, they are there, just don't know how to get them visible again. Thanks for any assistance.... frustrating - after 2-3 hours of trying myself, I am finally seeking help!! L( Bernie

Was you account IMAP? That is synchronized with the server being the canonical source of information. Did you have your ISP transfer you IMAP email to the new ISP?
Morning Matt, Not sure of your answer? My default email was thru Google admin. I deleted that in TB. I then added my new ISP same email address. Initilly, it was thru Zoho - couldn't get TB to accept the install process. After a wasted day, I went to GreatMail and installed my same email address (but thru greatmail) into TB with no setup problems. It is an Imap setup. Not sure, but I think I lost my folders when I did away with the initial default domain email thru Google? Was too busy trying to get it to setup thru Zoho. Only noticed for sure folders are missing when I got all done and settled down to see no folders. Hope this helps? Thanks, Bernie
Matt - is this something I need to do within Google Admin on my initial email address? If so, how/what would that be? Thanks
I have no idea if your original mail is still on your original ISP servers (including the folders) but it will not magically appear on your new providers servers unless you move it there. It is just one of the considerations when changing providers. Migrating your existing mail, otherwise when the account is closed you loose it.
As I don't do commercial email with any of the providers I have no idea which offer import and export options in their paid offerings. Google I understand has a takeout feature. At least the free offering does. I have used that.
