Hi Michelle, if you check the Add-ons page, is the extension still listed and is it enabled (to switch between enabled and disabled, click the slider switch next to the extension's name). To open the Add-ons page, either:
- Command+Shift+a (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+a)
- "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
- type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return
In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. On the right side, find the "Manage Your Extensions" heading.
Here you should find the Enabled list followed by the Disabled list.
If the extension is enabled and still does not appear on the toolbar, there are several possible explanations:
(1) You use only private windows and the extension is not allowed to run in private windows (see: Extensions in Private Browsing)
(2) The button has moved to the "Overflow" menu (») (use the Customize panel to move it: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
(3) The button has moved to another bar or is not on any bar (use the Customize panel to move it: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars)
(4) The toolbar configuration is corrupted...

Hi Michelle, is it this extension (linked from https://metamask.io/download.html): https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ether-metamask/ ?
Also, just to confirm, this problem is on your Mac and not on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad)?
Yes I add on Metamask from this https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ether-metamask/
This problem is on my Mac
Thanks Michelle
