make spell checker less obtuse to enable
I've seen other people round the net with the same problem I had. no spell check. it took way too much searching to find out why and how to fix it. even more confusing is on your languages page, it has language pack and dictionary together and no pointer that the language pack will not fix the spellchecker. why don't you just have dictionaries on one page? why don't you link to the dictionaries page from the settings menu where it says "check spelling as you type". this whole thing is so darn obtuse and there is really no reason for it to be. nobody should have to go through this much frustration just to get the darn spellchecker to work.

The language pack is to change or add an interface to the browser.
The spellchecker is for spelling only.
Type about:config<enter> in the address bar.
If a warning screen comes up, press the I Accept the Risk button.
At the top of the screen is a search bar.
Type: layout.spellcheckDefault Its values are; 0 Spell Checker Off 1 Check Only Multi-Line Input Boxes. 2 Check Multi And Single Line Input Boxes.
Also, check the spellchecker.dictionary entry.
