I have two laptops and a mobile phone that are connected to Firefox and have sync operating. One the laptops shows a location of Wrexham which is approximately correct. The other shows a location of Boardman, OR, United States, a place some 6000 miles away and of which I have never heard. Googling the location gives me no useful information, other than it is a small town with no special characteristics. A screenshot of part of the Firefox Accounts page illustrates what the situation is. The laptop stated as in Boardman has a location set within Windows. That is not Wrexhan but is only a few miles from there. I have used iplocation.net which gives me the location of my ISP, in England. I sometimes use a VPN (for work) and when being used iplocation.net gives a different English location which I think is the locaton of the ISP for my Employer. I am unsure what is going on here nor do I know what implications there are for my security. I do not seem to be able to fix this. Can anyone help, please?
