I have the DuckDuckGo search engine as the only search engine in my list of search engines. There is a very annoying issue with the way Firefox handles searches.

When I enter text into the DuckDuckGo search box two things can happen after hitting Enter to perform the search. If the cursor was positioned just below the search box where Change Search Settings button is located, after hitting Enter the the search defaults to the Options/Search page. This requires reloading my home page retyping my search query and ensure that the cursor isn't located over the Change Search Settings. Since the search engine textbox is located high up on the page instead of in the middle my cursor frequently ends up positioned over the Change Search Settings button. Since I am only using one search engine, it would be great if the Change Search Settings button could be disabled. Can This be done? I haven't been able to disable it with Firefox version 83.0 (64 bit).

If the cursor is anywhere else on the page the search goes through.
