The Options Page is Unreadable
The options page and addons pages are almost completely unreadable.
For several weeks they have rendered as white text on a very light gray background.
I thought that this was a temporary bug that would be cleaned up in the usual way.
Using 78.4.0esr on Windows.
Is there any fix for this?
It is there whether or not I have my usual theme which I have used for several years now, change to an alternative theme or turn off themes altogether. In safe mode the screens are sometimes usuable but that requires turning off all addons. Doing the same without going into safe mode has no effect on this.
Any advice?

Are you sure it's the theme? What one are you using? Try using a different one.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
I have tried this a number of times already and sometimes the problem is there sometimes not.
Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.
Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}
Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders
Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac
Linux: Check your user manual. If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it. See Install Firefox on Linux; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/install-firefox-linux
If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder Firefox in your home directory. http://www.mozilla.org/firefox#desktop ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Look for, and remove any Mozilla or Firefox program folders. Do not remove the Mozilla Thunderbird folder if there is one.
Do Not remove any profile folders.
After rebooting the computer, run a registry scanner if you have one. Then run the installer. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If there is a problem, start your Computer in safe mode and try again.

I am not sure of the point of doing this since the problem exists with the main profile. If I open up other profiles they look normal in safe mode and in normal mode.
There is a problem with the way that the options page and extensions pages render in the key profile. The profile I use the most often. Since this problem doesn't occur in other profiles it seems not to be a problem with the firefox installation.
If you don't know Firefox allows multiple profiles for users which can be selected at start-up. The problem is limited in scope to my key profile so reinstalling Firefox will have likely have zero effect. I have noticed that the software doesn't allow downgrading to a previous version without creating a new profile and this means the solution I could have used in the past is longer available, unfortunately.
Some update seems to have borked the themes in Firefox, how can I address this per profile because deleting the extensions folder in the profile doesn't affect the themes which seems to be where the problem exists.
