Can I use lightning calendar without using email client (I prefer using my provider's web-based email service)?

I would like to install a calendar app on my 2 Windows 10 PCs that I can sync with each other. I like the T'bird Lightning Calendar, but I really don't want to use T'bird email client. The web-based email feature of my email service provider works well for me from any PC (personal PCs, hotels, etc.). Can the calendar app be used without the email client? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I also use a different email client, but I think Lightning calendar is the best Windows calendar app I have found. So I installed Thunderbird and the Lightning extension and I never set up any email accounts. I only use the Calendar feature and it works great.

Lightning is a component of Thunderbird. I think that should make the answer obvious. The stand alone calendar app sunbird was discontinued some 10 years ago.

Thanks for your reply. After starting this thread, I installed Thunderbird (email client and calendar). Although I sometimes still use my service provider's email client, I tried the Thunderbird email client and I have grown to like it (and prefer it) quite a bit. I agree the calendar app is the best calendar available.
