hello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

Thanks, Philipp I just tried launching Firefox in safe ode, but once again it asked me to re-enter my password again immediately after the first time. Do you think it's possible that this could be happening because some outside entity is trying to hack my passwords? It's been going on for a couple of weeks now, on both my Air and my iMac. Vx

The only password Firefox would ask for is the Master Password for the Password Manager (if this was active).

Yes, it's just the usual Firefox "Password Required" box saying "Please enter the master password for the Software Security Device." that always comes up when starting up Firefox. That's the Master Password for my Password Manager, on Firefox .

Ahh. There are two settings. One setting asks for the Master only the first time. The other setting will ask each time.

I don't use the Master, so I don't know where this is.
