Nevermind, I downloaded the latest version from the Mozilla FTP, installed it to on Legend thru HTC Sync and it works like a charm... with ARMv6 :P
Tho you guys should work on it to make it compatible with ARMv6 so we can get it thru the official channel..
greatings... a happy FF user
There were some experimental builds for the old ARMv6 in past but they were and larger slower and have many stability problems that do not exist on ARMv7 devices. The ARMv6 also does not support the Thumb-2 instruction set as it is a feature of ARMv7 processors which makes the code both smaller and faster.
The last such old build was probably this one ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mobile/nightly/2011/03/2011-03-24-04-mozilla-central-android-r7-nothumb/fennec-4.1a1pre.en-US.eabi-arm.apk
Since you say the mobile Firefox works are you sure you have the HTC Legend. It is also said to not be compatible on https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
While many of the successor phones like the HTC Desire with cpus like the Snapdragon MSM8255 is ARMv7.
