Frontview is a web-based interface for setting up Netgear's ReadyNAS network storage in the web-browser.

This setup is enterd by entering the IP-adress of the "NAS"/admin/. i.e. "https://IP-adress/admin/"

After updating Firefox i can no longer enter this web-based setup interface as Firefox tells me that the connection is unreliable. If i click "add an exeption" and click "Get certificate" Firefox tels me it's wrong site for the certificate and unknow identity because the issuer is unknow. Firefox tells me that the certficate for the site (my ReadyNAS IP) is not valid and i get back to squre 1.

Frontview was working before with Firefox before and i can get to the Frontview setup without problem by using Safari and adding an exeption.

Do you have any clues how to solve this?

Similar problem here. It used to work fine after adding an exception until I had to reload factory setup on the ReadyNAS Duo. Now, FF5 comes up with Untrusted Connection but when trying to add exception I can't ("Permanently Store" and "Confirm Exception" are grayed out). FF says "This site provides verified, valid identification. There is no need to add an exception" and I'm back to square 1. I deleted the certificate but still same problem. Konqueror and Chromium work fine.

Works now! As mentioned above, I deleted the certificate and authority (looks like 192.168.x.x for my ReadyNAS). After that didn't work, I tried http://NAS_IP/admin instead of https: and got the same "Untrusted" message with options grayed out for exceptions. However, I manually changed https to http in the address on add exceptions screen and the "Permanently Store" and "Confirm Exception" became enabled. Tested several times and seems OK now.
