I can't open any new tabs anymore, not with ctrl+T or tapping the + on the tab. Can you please help me?

no matter what I do, the only way to open a new tab is to right click a link on a page and click open in new tab. please help me

Caused by the Ask Toolbar extension in Firefox 3.6.13, disable that extension or un-install it.
