Thunderbird will not accept my email settings even though I put them in manually, what can I do?
I have a Tiscali email account which has been taken over by TalkTalk. I can put all the settings into Thunderbird manually, but it still can't find the account. is there anything else I can do?

Are you using Version 38?
Go to tools | error console. Click Clear. Leave it open. Now try to add your account back. Is there anything in the error console from the failed attempt?
Have just downloaded Thunderbird so presume itis the latest version. There was nothing in the error console from the failed attempt.
