Why won't my Yahoo! bookmarks import to Firefox?

I have tried several times to import my Yahoo! bookmarks using an HTM file. I used the instructions at: Import Bookmarks from a HTML file https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-html-file?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=import-bookmarks-html

I'm running Widows 7, 64-bit w/Firefox v30.0.

My Profile contains: browser.places.importBookmarksHTML false browser.places.smartBookmarksVersion 7

These are not features in my default Windows 7 about:config page. Did you add these? Maybe set the first one to true and try to import from the Bookmarks > Show all bookmarks menu.

Import Bookmarks from HTML... should work, but not if the file you have isn't formatted properly enough to be recognized by Firefox.

Open that bookmarks.html file in a text program and copy the first few lines of code, then post that code into the Reply box here. Also, what is the file size of that file?
