TBird renames my old profile to new 2nd profile name????
I added a new email account to TBird and TBird renamed my existing email account to the new email name. Now I have 2 different email accounts with the same name when I open TBIrd. How can I fix this?
Thanx, squibt

Profile or account? These are completely different things.
Now I have 2 different email accounts with the same name ...
Can you give an example?
Like I said "email account" not profile...I had an existing email account in TBird I used every day. I recently added another email account with my ISP and added this new email account to TBird under my existing profile so I could received emails from 2 different email accounts under one profile. The email accounts had the same mail servers but 2 totally different names .. like "MyEmail" and "JaksonsMail", the new account.... TBird renamed JaksonsMail to MyEmail also so I had 2 MyEmails....I deleted the new one and re-installed it giving it a different email server name from the same ISP (should not matter what server) and the same thing happened.....no way I can figure out how to rename the email account back to JaksonsMail....
