Unable to Archive Message Imported from Previous Profile
During the setup of a new computer, I copied my old profile into a new installation of Thunderbird by manually moving all mail folders from the old profile folder into the new profile folder.
I have found that I am unable to use the archive mail feature on any e-mail that was originally received under the old profile. The keyboard shortcut does not work, the archive button is not displayed with the message, and the menu option is disabled.
Any messages received after I setup Thunderbird are able to archive properly.

I have discovered the issue:
I was looking through the "Inbox" mailbox file, trying to find differences between messages that I could archive and those that I could not.
I found a difference between some of the messages in their headers. The header "X-Account-Key:" was set to "account2" for the messages I could not archive and "account10" for the messages i could archive.
I updated the messages with "account2" to "account10" and opened up Thunderbird. I went to the messages I could not previously archive, and found they are now able to be archived.

Did you archived that Mail folders in old profile???
The mail was stored in my Inbox and not previously archived.
Also, the messages that I'm attempting to archive are located in a Local Folders

Please prove your thunderbird version which your using
Using Thunderbird 24.5.0 on Ubuntu 12.04.4
I checked it, its working fine.
- EXIT/QUIT Thunderbird completely
- Create a NEW Profile
- Copy the content from OLD Profile and replace it to New Profile
That is precisely what I did when I initially set up Thunderbird. Archive doesn't work on messages that I received prior to when I perform the suggested steps.
Make sure it copied the Preferences file too
Everything was moved to the new profile, and I am still unable to archive old messages.
