Hosted webapps in disconnected networks with the new syntethic apk
Hello, i'm using firefox on android as primary "client" interface for an home automation system. The home automation system has a web based user/admin gui that i permit to "install" as an hosted web app, and both the gui and the manifest.app is on a little embedded device running a custom embedded linux i use to serve the web pages.
Any home has a different LAN, and some of them are also disconnected from internet.
With firefox beta and nightly fennec i can see that webapps are changed, old one won't work anymore, and the new one needs to be built as apk from an external service. I know that theorically i can build my apk in my own local LAN, but i don't have a device with enough resources to do that in any lan, so, no way to do that.
Of course when i try to just install my manifes.webapps, the service at https://controller.apk.firefox.com/ cannot connect to my internal web server, so, no way to make it install my webapp, also, i cannot put a webapp online as some home doesn't have internet connectivity at all.
Is there any way to achieve what i was used to with the "old" webapps way, or i need to build a packaged web app with just a single page that just do a redirect to my local web server?
