Cannot use search function for google.ca
The google search engine included with FF will not connect to any website and including google itself. It just keeps trying to connect over & over again to the URL of any site etc. I can bring up a google page from an old bookmark and that's all it will do. An example of the links are blow (down near the bottom the link seems different somehow?)
Present Link: http://www.google.com/imgres?sa=X&hl=en&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&biw=1598&bih=708tbs=isz:l,imgo:1 tbm=isch&tbnid=cMgIBw49j9T4JM:&imgrefurl=http://www.carolinaparent.com/community/blogs/details.php %3F3652&docid=gwGy0KFOuuArfM&imgurl=http://carolinaparent.com/oneadmin/_files/Imag /DurhamLifeandScienceRoseSwallowtail.jpg&w=1600&h=1200&ei=fP-GUfnXMJDB4AOcxoGoCQ&zoom=1&ved=1t:3588,r:56,s:0,i:258&iact=rc&dur=496&page=3&tbnh=177&tbnw=250&start=45&ndsp=26&tx=136&ty=32

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
- Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

I tried all and they all found nothing :/ Thank you Maxine
You can check:
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
See:
"It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program."
Remove all rules for Firefox Sorry but what do you mean please?
