When I access video sites, Firefox has hiccups, crashing my USB keyboard. Opera and IE do not. Why?
While displaying a video/audio, such as Coffee with Haley or Rush Limbaugh, both audio and video will stop for a quarter second or so every 5 to 10 seconds. The cursor also stops while this is happens and my USB keyboard is being interrupted. Eventually, the keyboard stops entirely and a reboot is necessary. This does not happen if a use Opera or Internet Explorer.

Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration? Do that from Options > Advanced > General.
I unchecked the "Use hardware acceleration when available". This did not help.
I did a search on Startpage using these keywords: video interfere usb firefox, and some of the results lead me to think that WiFi can interfere with USB. Are you using WiFi to access these videos?
Turned off wifi. Still is a problem that doesn't exist in Opera of IE.
I am stuck then. Somebody else want to join in?
