Firefox keeps on crashing when opened in both regular and in safe mode. Some times the browser will actually open and then close as soon as I press a bookmark or press enter after typing in a web address. Most of the time though it just closes and comes up with the crash notification as soon as i try and open it, without even letting the browser window pop up at all. I figured out the only way I can open firefox successfully without it crashing is by holding ctrl and shift while clicking the shortcut icon, which opens it in administrator mode. (windows 7)

Ive searched throughout the forums and support articles and have tried everything listed. From doing virus/ malware scans on my computer, completely uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, disabling all plugins and add-ons, erasing all preferences and bookmarks, and have even searched my entire computer for any files containing "mozilla" and "firefox" and deleting them...nothing seems to be working. Ive asked a question like this a few minutes ago but made the mistake in the last message of saying that firefox worked fine in SAFE MODE when in fact it doesnt. I meant to say it works fine when OPENED AS AN ADMINISTRATOR. Please help!
