right-to-left support in gmail
I'm Having problem with gmail since I upgraded to FF 3.6.15.
When composing an email in a right-to-left language (in my case Hebrew) in gmail, there are a few problems. First of all, the keyboard shortcut for aligning the text to the right doesnt work. When clicking the "Align Right" its fine, but I used to do it with Right Ctrl-Shift. When text is aligned right, all the punctuation marks at the end of the sentence (" ? ! . , ' etc), appear at the beginning of a sentence. Only if continue to write on the same row, or writing in a row below, the mark jumps to the end of the sentence. This worked fine in previous versions of FF (at least the latest ones), and is working fine on other browsers (chrome 10.0, IE8). Is there a solution for this?

You can switch the bidi alignment in Firefox via Shift + Ctrl + X.
Thanks for your replay. The Shift+Ctrl+X doesnt work for me as well, but clicking the "right-to-left" icon does the job! I used to be able to do it using a keyboard shortcut, which still works in other browsers, dont know what's changed.
Firefox 3.6 doesn't support ctrl-shift keyboard shortcut for switching text direction, while newer versions does. Anyway, changing text direction in rich text fields such as gmail's message composition screen won't help you, as it only changes the displayed alignment and doesn't trigger an event on the webpage for changing it also in the message source.
As far as I know, there is no way to click Gmail direction buttons from the keyboard like how you press ctrl-b for toggling a bold font.
