Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

you can stop it easily. If you are using win7 just find this file: [email protected] on this directory C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xr6ylicy.default\extensions\ and then delete it. if you are using other operation systems just find [email protected] file and delete it. this is a malware extension! good luck :)
I think I cured this! I deleted all fire fox and downloads of the set up. checked and scanned with avast1 then downloaded the latest firefox!
thxs for the help!
Please check whether you have installed any of the extensions developed by Lipo-Technologies Lipo-Technologies. Their Key logger and browser server extensions are notorious for advertisements.
I am having this problem as well. I ran Malwarebytes - it didn't find it. Ran AVG - it didn't find it. I can see the Session Manager files here (I'm on Windows XP): C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Flock\Browser\Profiles\dlz72b4u.default
(I don't understand why it's in the Flock folder instead of Mozilla/Firefox, but it is). I can not find the [email protected] file at all among the files that are there. I did a search on my drive to find that file - it says it does not exist. The issue with this has gotten so bad that as soon as I try to open FF, Session Manager kicks in - if I choose not to restore a session at all, FF won't open up. I try to open a session that doesn't have the lipo site listed, and it opens (no exaggeration here) at least 15 windows with the site - and then when I close down each of them, trying to leave only the 'valid' window open, it closes down the entire FF browser. I have even tried to uninstall and reinstall FF and I am still having problems with this.... please help? I'm at my wits end. Prior to this ordeal, I actually enjoyed using this plug-in, but now I can't even get the browser open to disable it, nor can I even find an uninstall option or exe to get rid of it! I just checked to see if I had any of their add-ons installed and no, I don't/didn't.
