I am using Mozilla firefox version 3.6.9 on win 7 x64 dell desktops... I recently installed Handycafe clients on my machine, and later uninstalled it from safe mode... Now I am unable to change my homepage in mozilla from handycafe haomepage... I tried ad-aware, spybot S&D, tuneup, etc. but nothing is helping...

Please help.

There are several methods to lock down a preference, I do not know what method the Handycafe application would have used. The following link may help, first try the section on user.js file - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Preferences+are+not+saved

Your user agent string is "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.9) Gecko/20100824 Firefox/3.6.9 handyCafeCln/3.3.21", as it shows handyCafeCln added to it, the standard uninstall of HandyCafe does not remove all trace of Handycafe. It is possible the handycafe client is still installed. See the solution offered on this similar question - http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/728649
