This is one of those annoying little things. I enjoy working the Samarai Sudoku puzzles available from djape. The solutions for all the different puzzles are available all on one page: http://www.djape.net/sudoku/wp/index.php/solutions/

For the puzzles, I can right-click on the puzzle image, have it open in a new tab, and print it from there. But the solutions are different - they are png graphics that are a link from the solutions page. I can't just right-click, because the image is a generic blank puzzle graphic. The link takes me to a .png file, but I can only choose to open the graphic with Preview or save the file. I would rather open it in a new tab and print it from within Firefox, because the page title (and thus the date of the puzzle) can appear on the printout and I can know which solution goes with which puzzle!

I looked for add-ons that might allow me to fix this - no luck. The Firefox preferences only let me choose between the QuickTime 7.6 plug-in or Preview, and they both just open it in Preview.

Whenever a web page just has a png graphic as part of its page, that loads just fine (including the graphics on the Mozilla support site). Why is this a different issue just because it's accessed by a link?

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
