I had hundreds of bookmarks. One week ago Microsoft Tech was on my computer and when finished had deleted apps including Firefox. When this happened my bookmarks (website pages) disappeared. These were specific pages I needed to save for the book I am writing. Is there a way to recover them? I tried the fix that is listed on the site, but it isn't applicable. I exclusively use Firefox and Duck Duck Go. Help!! Help!!

Dear Dropa: Are you suggesting that all of the webpages I saved with the Firefox application in order to refer to them when I was browsing are available for Microsoft Support to locate on my computer and be able to reinstall all of them back into my Firefox account?

If so, would you clarify where the bookmarks are on my Windows version 10 so they could restore them? If they are on my computer, I need to know the location since I have not previously viewed them.

Second question, please...Why does Firefox not keep backups for a limited period of time when user accounts are deleted...in my case by mistake... but immediately wipes the account from their system and system backup so that users cannot be assisted if there are mistakes? This suggests a weak infrastructure.

I would appreciate answers from you and other Firefox contributors before I reach out to Microsoft with a problem they may not have the capability to resolve. I am certainly disappointed with Firefox support. I have been a loyal user for well over a decade.

Thanks in advance to all who may respond.
